My name is Demetrice S. Thompson and I have the honor and privilege of serving as the Chapter President of the Fort Worth Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, representing over 250 chapter members! As a 30+ year member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and a 10+ year member of Fort Worth Alumnae, I am committed to lead this Chapter forward as we continue its rich legacy. I am inspired by all we have done already and am excited about our future.
The Fort Worth Alumnae Chapter has been faithfully serving the community, since charted as Beta Rho in 1938. We are committed to embracing the vision of our 22 Founders by developing and providing programs from our Five Point Programmatic Thrust: Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, and Political Awareness and Involvement.
