Our Programs

The Fort Worth Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. has developed community service programs to address the challenges facing African Americans and their families. A wide range of public service initiatives are achieved through our Five-Point Programmatic Thrust of Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, and Political Awareness and Involvement.

Delta Academy

Dr. Betty Shabazz Delta Academy program is for young women ages 11-14 and focuses on social and emotional development, physiological transitioning, and exposure to global ideas.

Delta GEMS

A continuation of the Delta Academy program that provides a framework for at-risk African American girls age 14-18 to actualize their dreams by performing specific tasks that develop a CAN DO attitude.

Miss Jabberwock

Miss Jabberwock Scholarship Pageant is sponsored by the Fort Worth Alumnae Chapter in conjunction with Beta Rho Education and Development Corporation (BREAD), a non-profit 501(c)3 foundation.
