 a Jordan Essay Competition was founded in 1995 as an event sponsored by th
 e University of Texas at Austin to honor the legacy of Soror Barbara Jorda
 n\, a lawyer\, educator\, politician\, and one of Texas' most influential 
 leaders of the 20th century. In 2001\, Fort Worth Alumnae added the compet
 ition to our Youth Initiative as an opportunity to support the higher educ
 ation goals of students in the city of Fort Worth and Tarrant County. 🍎
 💼🏆\n\n📌To qualify for this scholarship\, you must:\n\n\n\n\n✅Be
  a graduating senior from a school in our service area (Fort Worth\, Benbr
 ook\, Crowley\, Everman\, Forest Hill\, Mansfield and the County of Tarran
 t)\n\n✅Plan to attend a 2 or 4-year college/university\n\n✅Submit a co
 mpleted application\, with the requested supporting documents:\n\n\n\n\n\n
